Title: Magic Tree House – Eve of the Emperor Penguin
Author:

Mary Pope Osborne

ISBN 0375837337
Review By: Cheri Hamilton
Review:

In Eve of the Emperor Penguin, Jack and Annie explore the coldest, driest and windiest place on earth when the magic tree house takes them to Antarctica.  This book does a great job of mixing fact with fantasy as Jack and Annie visit McMurdo Station and Mt. Elbrus.  They also learn about penguins and the giant petrel’s that inhabit Antarctica.  Readers of all ages will enjoy this Antarctic adventure and you might want also check out the Magic Tree House Research Guide – Penguins and Antarctica
